Last summer my mother taught me to knit baby booties. After receiving news that my friends and my sister were all expecting baby boys, white and blue booties were all I knitted. In the last 6 months, I caught myself twice wanting to buy pink yarn but knew there was no point... boys it will be this year.
Today was the day, I got the call that my sister finally delivered her baby after 60 hours of labour. At last, I became an aunt. We rushed to the hospital, to only be left waiting impatiently some more. All I wanted was to meet my new little nephew. And to much of my surprise (and the whole family), I was greeted with a beautiful little niece!
