Attraction Words Canvas
I was flicking through the latest Debenhams Home catalogue when I stumbled upon an item called London Words Canvas by designer Ben de Lisi. It's basically a large white canvas that features the names of London landmarks. It's a nice fashionable poster, but from my point of view there are two things wrong with it. Firstly, it's about London, and secondly, it uses the much despised Verdana font.
Inspired, I made something very similar in Adobe Photoshop CS5.1, but with some "improvements" of my own. I changed the content from London landmarks to the best attractions at Disneyland Park in Paris. I used Helvetica for the font. Finally, I distressed the text and the background to make the whole thing look slightly less plain and a little more vintage.
