Sabha which happens at the temple in Barsana and Nandgaon, is a gathering with devotees singing prayers in praise of Lord Krishna, with colors exploding all around them.
Holi, though a heaven for photographers in many ways, is equally a place where photographers forget their ethics. The selfishness and ignorance of so called "photographers" reaches its absolute peak during the ceremony.
There are two kinds of photographers at Holi - 1. Those who stay at safe distance, respecting other photographers view point and also respecting the holy ceremony, and then 2. Theres the other kind, who surround this little space of sabha in huge numbers, with absolute no regard to photographers shooting else where or the ceremony itself.
One photographer went to a whole new extent by sitting in sabha along side the devotees, only to be literally kicked out later.
There were few who had their gopro on monopod, who for some reason thought its cool to glide the monopod through the sabha, thereby screwing the images of anyone shooting till his fancy was fulfilled.
My message to those photographers is pretty simple. You may have great images by doing what you shamelessly do, but every time we see that "GREAT" images of yours, we know which category you belong to.
