Puffin Close Up
Been processing some Puffin images for a display and thought I'd share this close up of these 'Clowns Of The Sea' as I call them due to their beautiful colours on their beaks and their eye shape.It was taken on Skomer where you can get close in some areas,watch as they fly ashore,run past you and down there burrows all... ...within seconds.I really love these birds that spend almost eight months of the year at sea,then come ashore to breed,have young then go back to the sea, a real 'tough' bird.I run photographic trips to Skomer through the spring/summer months,these can be viewed by clicking on the link below.Hope you like this handsome fellow,please view large in 'All Sizes'
