An Autumn Leaf
Stichill Linn is the waterfall on the little Eden Water that runs through the estate of Newton Don near the village of Stichill a few miles north of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.
The water falls 40ft in to a pool in a steep sided ravine accessed via a lovely woodland walk adjacent to the watercourse.
An autumnal leaf was gently resting on a log at the edge of the pool adding a subtle hint of colour in the foreground.
