LONELY LITTLE TREE
Somehow he got left behind when all the other trees were planted on the far shore, so he spends his day shouting across the lake, but he misses out on all the gossip.
The only other time I have seen water as crystal clear and as calm as this, is on another birthday trip to Kylemore Abbey in County Mayo (Republic of Ireland).
Funnily enough that too was glacier country as well.
Love how the hill undulated to be mimicked in the water and then at the top of the photo, peeking out through the mist is the snow capped mountains.
Major snow has been forecast this weekend (I know, I know, I said the S word) so by the time we go over to Scotland again in a fortnight, the roads will have all been snow ploughed.
Well thats the theory anyway!
