Batmobile 1989
I wasn't meaning to publish this, since there are so many Lego versions of the classic Burton's '89 Batmobile. I originally build it to use it later on a certain set, but it turned out ok, so let's just go for it..
I'm not sure how many versions of this classical vehicle I've build.. but it's a lot: some versions have been 6 studs wide, some 8, some taller then others while some have been shorter. Some have been way out of minifigure scale. But this time I ended up building the car 7 studs wide, which I think is closest to the correct proportions. This also allowed to create a small gap between the rear "wings" and the hull of the car. I played around with different solutions regarding the front mudguard, which might be the most difficult part, but ended using quite basic setup.
Note: If you're also a fan of the Batman 1989 movie, you might want check the Gotham City's 200th Anniversary Parade
