Tonight Brett, Valerie and I went to Richie & Denise's for a little cookout in memory of Japeth with several friends in attendance. Richie had quite the new Cadillac of grills, but no vegan treats to be had. So it was a BYOVT (bring your own vegan treats) party for me. Morningstar Farms rib it was. Our buddy Travis is back from Arizona for a week for the funeral, so I decided to make him # 212. Travis is one cool dude, and I'm glad he was willing to partake in the project. He's is a solid motorcycle enthusiast- we had first come up with the idea of making a mini-Travis next to Bella's purple and pink tricycle, but we were running short on time so I just decided to get him out into the street for a portrait. Man, I have I felt totally unmotivated this week... My brain is not in creative mode what-so-ever. I had Valerie hold my flash unit... well, sort of hold it. She was having a bit of trouble as the earth was spinning a little fast for her. Or was it the libations... Nonetheless, I got the photo as Travis was freezing in the cool Illinois spring breeze. Guess he's gotten used to that warm Arizona climate. Hope to see him again before he heads back west!
