Old Cawker City Library (Cawker City, Kansas)

Erected in 1884-85, this Folk Victorian former library was designed by John Rogers and William Foster. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. The structure is now the Cawker City Museum.

 

Cawker City is located in northwestern Mitchell County between Glen Elder and Downs. It is home to the world's largest sisal twine ball.
