Freethinkers' Hall (Sauk City, Wisconsin)

This lovely Stick-style, 1884 meeting hall was designed by architect Alfred Clas. The Freethinkers' congregation (or Freie Gemeinde) was formed by German immigrants in 1852, and meets to this day, one of the last such congregations in North America. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Sauk City is a small town located on the Wisconsin River in southeastern Sauk County.
