I have looked at this image many times.. because it happens to be an archived one.. It never fails.. I get very emotional when I do..
This image was captured just a few years after 9/11 on Ellis Island.. Just to the left of this flag pole off in the distance.. there used to be two of the tallest buildings in NYC called the Twin Towers..
All I have to say about that.. is that our enemies thought by taking down those towers and all those precious souls inside.. they could break us.. but they could not! for we are Americans!.. we are free.. they tried to destroy freedom and it can not be done.. we as Americans will not stand for it.. We must remain free and we shall..
Freedom comes with a price.. it is not free..
