Puma IFV
Had enough yet? No? Good ^^
While the Boxer in it's versatile variants was a tried and tested platform even before the time Zeus was formed and their number backed up by SEP Alligators of the mountain-battalions, the gap between them and the heavy-hitting Leopards still needed to be filled by a dedicated infantry fighting vehicle. Several years before the formation of Zeus, the German army was making plans to phase out its older Marder IFVs and replace it with a new, more advanced vehicle. That vehicle was the new Puma IFV.
It is a vehicle system using the same Lance-turret armament as the wheeled Boxer, while being able to be equipped with modular armor, to provide all-round protection. While the heavy version shown here is too wide and weighs too much, the other variants of the Puma can be air-lifted by A400 Atlas transports easily.
