One of the big challenges with the raptor is the weapon bays. It took some fiddling to come up with a solution that looked good when closed, had enough internal space and didn't touch the ground before the landing gear - which itself is a major challenge.
It works deceptively simple on the real Raptor, but translating it into bricks proved tricky due to how it folds up and the spacing. The breakthrough came in the form of technic-beams to create a double-hinge that creates proper clearance for the tires to pass the landing gear doors.
