So, as I'm sure most everyone knows by now... Raleigh, NC was recently hit pretty hard with a huge Tornado. Thankfully where I live was spared by the most damaging part of the storm. After everything calmed down, I went to ground zero (Downtown Raleigh, if you can believe it) with my camera and iPhone to snap some photos. If we're Facebook friends, you might have already seen my photos there.

 

If you look closely at the side of the house, you can see it's littered with leaves and random debris -- pretty much glued slash plastered to the side. Crazy. I'll toss up some more photos over the next few weeks, shots taken with my D700 versus my iPhone 4.

 

Oh and also, it was hilarious to see how many different ways people spelled "debris" in the news/Facebook/Twitter during the clean up... don't people spell check?!
