Corn Sheller
Most of the shellermen I was around kept watch on the drags all the time. It was the best way to keep an eye on how much corn was going to the machine. You sure didnt want to get a machine clogged up with too much wet, shuckey corn. Plus rocks,or metal objects would break many of the cast parts inside the sheller. There were some guys near here who built steel parts for the inside of the sheller. That were much stronger than the cast parts. But you still needed to know what was going into it.
