284.366 Shutter Circle

This is one of the rare occasions where the selfie wasn't shot by me. This was taken earlier this year on the 27 July at a summer social with the guys behind Shutter Circle. I remember it being a warm day.

 

Shutter Circle is 4 pro photographers who came together to create Shutter Circle with a vision to:

 

"build a culture of growth and connection for camera creatives, where mutual respect and trust help all levels of talent to crush it!"

 

I've been to a couple of these social events and they are always informative and fun, and there is an opportunity to go out-and-about and shoot each other to hopefully acquire some new headshots along the way.

 

On this day, a couple of people had given apologies and I was the only female in the group. The guys wanted to try different things and I'd dressed like I'd fallen out of a punk tribute band so was happy to pose for them.

 

I love this image Nik shot, he is an outstanding photographer but a completely balanced guy, I trust him implicitly to give me an honest critique or photography advice.
