Description: When a group of Americans with Alice Roosevelt visited Korea in 1905, they probably toured the Yi Dynasty kings' tombs. Regarding the phyisical setting of the scene, the 'Kings of Yi Dynasty were guarded in death by stone warriors and animals--a custom that was presumably introduced into Korea during the Silla period from China.'
