034.365 : Thirty-One
I turned thirty-one today and I still act like this. Seriously, something I think I have a problem. I can put on a professional game face when it comes to work, but when I dont have to, I act like a five year old. I still laugh at words like fart and barf and diarrhea. Every time that Family guy episode comes on with the word "Cacapoopoopeepeeshire", I nearly piss my pants laughing for 5 minutes. This isn't normal behavior.
And yet, it should be. I think when we start taking ourselves and our photos too seriously, we lose some of the charm of what makes a good photo. Not every photo has to be stoic and rigid, nor does every one have to be about poop humor. But being able to see all those perspectives will keep our images fresh. So take your photography less serious sometimes. Because deep down, we all find some kind of humor in a word like dingleberry.
