Lake Manly, Death Valley National Park
Badwater Basin is usually dry, a flat tableland of white minerals deposited over time. This winter/spring brought tremendous floods into the park. It destroyed roads and closed off many areas of the park. This lake is only about a foot deep and is temporary, probably disappearing during the heat of summer.
