Arsenic Arch
A remote arch near Hanksville, Utah. We had an exasperating time trying to find this arch as it sits below a bluff (out of frame upper left). The arch is visible from the top if one knows where to look. Access is easy enough if one knows where to make the descent from the bluff.
We wandered around on top for more than an hour looking for the trail that descends to the arch. We passed by the path several times but it was unrecognizable as the way down. Eventually we came back to it once more and ventured further and it turned out to be the way down. A short walk later we arrived at the arch.
Traveling across the slickrock without any markers/cairns makes navigation a bit sketchy, but it was fun.
