It doesn't seem that long ago that I could have just jumped up on this slab of rock and sped across to the other side, then jumped down and continued on my merry way. No pain, no worries.
As Karen demonstrates, this is the new normal. We now have to wriggle, bend, pull, and grunt, to get over, around, behind even minor obstacles on our hiking adventures.
A bit of struggle usually, sometimes a lot of struggle. BUT, we still go! Not time for TV, movies, cruise ships, or the recliner - we have places to go and things to do. And time is wastin'!
