Unsettled

Looking across Badwater Basin from Zabriskie Point, Death Valley National Park.

 

We were chasing weather all day during the drive to DVNP. As we approached Zabriskie these clouds convinced me to pull into the parking lot and run up the hill for a few minutes. We had a long day driving and wanted to get to Stovepipe Wells and get the trailer set up, but this scene was just too enticing to pass up. I am glad we stopped as the weather was less dramatic during our stay.
