Boundless

Karen looks out over Badwater Basin from a knoll in Artist's Palette area, Death Valley National Park.

 

The immense scale of this park, not to mention the time scale it took to create, is awe inspiring. It is one of the most spectacular landscapes i have seen in my travels. Before i ever visited i imagined Death Valley as just a hot place of emptiness with no redeeming value. I have been here three times now and always find something i haven't seen that amazes me.
