Helplessly Hoping

These ancient stumps seem to be waiting . . . .

 

Yesterday we did a quick day hike in the howling wind and cold temperatures near Snoqualmie Pass. Had a good day in spite of the conditions. Cabin fever has set in so any outing into the outdoors away from town is a good thing.
