Fly Fly...
This is another shot from the Tulip festival in Woodburn, Oregon at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm.
Depending on the amount of wind and time of day there were many of these little bugs flying around. They didn't seem to bite they were just a bit pesky and showed up as what looks like sensor dust in some of my other landscape shots.
In any event many of these bugs were in the flowers and seemed to be stuck. After watching them struggle for a while they'd eventually calm down.
This particular bug like to climb to the top of the stamen then fall down. I had to be quick on the shutter and this is one of the few shots I got where he happened to be in focus, at the top of the stamen with his wings spread.
This is a one shot HDR with a couple of fairly minor adjustment layers applied.
