Rainbow Lorikeets

Taken at Currumbin Sanctuary. Each afternoon the birds fly in to be fed by the public. The number of birds and their willingness to be fed by people varies each day. On the day we visited there was a larger bird in the area so they were very nervous and did not come down to the bowls being offered to them. I managed to get a few shots of them in the trees but they did not stay for very long.
