Hanoi Traffic

While the family enjoyed chips, spring rolls and cocktails I hung out over the balcony taking multiple shots of the passing traffic on this intersection. I tried various settings, some with a fast shutter speed to freeze the traffic and some with a slower shutter speed to blur the traffic. I preferred the ones with the slower shutter as it seems to convey the feeling of movement and mayhem that is the traffic around the city of Hanoi. The best shot I have seen from this intersection was taken by Sam Antonio. He has a fantastic stream and some amazing and inspiring shots from his travels through South East Asia. When I saw his shot from the same location I had one of those "why the hell didn't I think of that?" moments, and am now regretting a missed opportunity for a great shot.
