Female bluetip damselfly
Looking at the book again I think this is the Rufescens variety (basically a young female that is a bit pink) I'm experimenting with very close up shots with the lens open wide so you have to get very close. Extremely frustrating when after several hours you find something worth taking a picture of only for it to take off. Have got a few good ones though. If you want to try this top tip is to move like a cloud (ie very slowly). And be very very patient.
