Can't Fight This Feeling...

Those of you who follow me day in day out, you'll probably know by now how much I love shooting at night. One can argue I'm a nocturnal soul and maybe I am. But the thing is, I love night and I love to see the light playing with the darkness of the night, in their everlasting battle. I love the mood and I love its silence. I love how shadows, in the strangest way, give clarity to the world under the light, all around me. I love the sense of movement, I love the textures and the life that comes out of this unspoken war! A never ending war, but one without casualties.

 

It's that feeling I get from each and every single one of those night shots, that I can't afford not to have. I adore the shadows as much as I'm falling for bright lights. Those two sworn "enemies", are those two who challenge my lens and my imagination. They are those who nurture and nourish my eye every time I'm out and about at night, with a camera in my hand. So yes, I love night and shooting at night for I just can't fight this feeling...
