Helper, Utah

I have shot Helper, Utah three times now. I've seen it as a struggling, dying town, but that was nearly a decade ago. Now it's growing and expanding. It's revitalizing itself. The old charm is still there, of course, but much of what I've shot in years past has been drastically changed or removed.

It's progress, which is great for small towns (and it doesn't matter if it's not great for my lens).

I've recently said that I probably wouldn't shoot Helper again. I still believe that. But I think I'll return when I can to see how it's doing.
