blueberry

a spoonful of blueberry sauce/jam made today. to be eaten with yoghurt/icecream/custard/semolina/sticky toffee pudding etc

 

a pan of blueberries gently cooked in the juice of one lemon until softened with lid on, stirred occasionally

no water was added at any stage

once softened, brought to the boil with lid off

then sugar added to taste (not a serious jam where far more sugar would have been added)

simmered for a while with lid off all the time

stirred occasionally

when happy with consistency left to cool

decanted into a glass wired jar
