tomato and chilli salsa was made adding extra diced fresh tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric powder and lime juice to homemade chilli and tomato jam

i steamed the cassava to partially cook before decanting into a frying pan of hot extra virgin olive oil
next time i'll decant the steamed cassava firstly onto kitchen roll paper to take up the excess moisture and then into the frying pan to help prevent the sizzle and splash when the steamed cassava hits the hot oil :)
