carrots
I was clearing the Padrón pepper plants from their bed in the polytunnel yesterday. They were big plants, some 1.5M in height, I discovered and remembered that i had sowed carrots between them in May - and was able to bring some in - very shaded but still lovely tasty carrots - we ate these last night and quite a few more still in the ground in that bed.
I have grown much better carrots this year (also in polytunnel but in good light) but i like nice surprises and these forgotten ones were a nice surprise.
