VINH, Vietnam (July 15, 2012) Gary Glauberman, a teacher from the University of Hawaii, leads a nursing subject matter expert exchange class aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) during Pacific Partnership 2012. Vietnam is the third stop for Pacific Partnership 2012. Previously the mission visited Indonesia and the Philippines. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission which brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-government organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
