SURABAYA, Indonesia (March 4, 2011) The amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) welcomes Indonesian citizens for a ship tour. Germantown is in Indonesia for a four-day port visit. The visit represents an opportunity for the Germantown crew to serve as goodwill ambassador to the U.S. promoting peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region and demonstrate commitment to regional partnerships and foster growing relationships.
