HONG KONG (Feb. 22, 2011) -- Information Systems Technician 3rd Class Andrew Bankey helps Au Bin Hung dispose of weeds while cleaning out a gutter at Hong Chi Association's training grounds during a 7th Fleet command ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) community service project. Blue Ridge and embarked 7th Fleet staff Sailors are in Hong Kong to participate in community service projects like Hong Chi, which for 45 years, has strived to provide education, training, and skills to people with mental disabilities to lead successful lives. Blue Ridge is commanded by Capt. Rudy Lupton and serves under Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 7/Task Force (CTF) 76, the Navy's only forward-deployed amphibious force. Blue Ridge is the command ship for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet. Task Force 76 is headquartered at White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan, with an operating detachment in Sasebo, Japan.
