INDIAN OCEAN (Oct. 20, 2021) Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Apprentice Donovan Lewis, from Rialto, California, assigned to the “Black Eagles” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 113, conducts preventative maintenance on an E-2D Advanced Hawkeye in the hangar bay aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).
