BAUCAU, Timor-Leste (Aug. 24, 2021) Equipment Operator Constructionman Isaiah Dawkins, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, excavates and levels the land for a four-room schoolhouse. The U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 are constructing the schoolhouse to support the local Ministry of Education. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening a network of allies and partners, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
