EAST CHINA SEA (June 14, 2021) Seaman Tavian Quinataheilman, from Killeen, Texas, communicates over radio while on starboard lookout watch on USS New Orleans’s (LPD 18) bridge during a Maritime Raid Force training evolution with USS America (LHA 6) and USS Germantown (LSD 42). New Orleans, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
