PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 8, 2020) Rifleman Lance Cpl. Aaron Bosloper with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) from Queens, N.Y., rides aboard Landing Craft, Air Cushion 09, assigned to Naval Beach Unit 7, as it conducts amphibious operations aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42). Germantown, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group assigned to Amphibious Squadron 11, along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners, and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
