PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 16, 2017) Aviation Machinist’s Mate Airman Desiree Ealdez, assigned to the Cougars of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 139, cleans an aircraft component in preparation for an inspection aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is currently underway for a regularly scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
