YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 13, 2017) Information Systems Technician 1st Class Herbert Gardner, assigned to Afloat Training Group Western Pacific (ATGWP), inspects an air low pressure valve with Yeoman 2nd Class Jesus Martinez, the maintenance supervisor for that space aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63), during a maintenance and material management (3M) spot-check. Stethem is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
