KUANTAN NAVAL BASE, Malaysia (Aug. 13, 2016) Rear Adm. John W. Korka, commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific, gives remarks during the Pacific Partnership 2016 closing ceremony in Malaysia. The ceremony highlighted the importance of partnership in the region and the work completed, knowledge exchanged and relationships grown during the mission stop. This was Pacific Partnership's first visit to Malaysia. During the mission stop, partner nations worked side-by-side with local military and civilian organizations in a search and rescue exercise, civil engineering projects, community relation events and subject matter expert exchanges.
