PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan 22, 2016) Fire Controlman 3rd Class Ty Robinson, from Tucson, Arizona, participates in a crew served weapons qualification for small craft action team, aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106). Stockdale, assigned to the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, is part of the Great Green Fleet, a year-long initiative highlighting the Department of the Navy’s efforts to transform its energy use to increase operational capability. Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, the John C.
