YOKOSUKA, Japan (January 14, 2016) information Systems Technician Seaman Apprentice Matthew Burtell, from Dearborn, Michigan, fights a simulated fire during a general quarters drill aboard the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The general quarters drill is a training scenario held weekly to prepare Sailors for emergency situations. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
