YOKOSUKA, Japan (Feb. 25, 2015) Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet Vice Adm. Robert Thomas congratulates members of the engineering department aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) for their efforts in successfully completing a "light off." Blue Ridge conducted a 'light off' of its boilers, providing steam to power the steam plant, in order to resume patrols of the 7th Fleet area of operations.
