National Day of Prayer Breakfast 2012

The Blood Center observed National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3, with the 21st Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast, held at Houston Museum of Natural Science’s Cockrell Butterfly Center. The breakfast was an occasion to recognize the many faith-based groups that Commit for Life and hold drives with The Blood Center. In 2011, more than 450 faith-based groups hosted blood drives, collecting more than 34,000 units total.
