Diamonds for Donors Winner from Conoco Phillips
Katy resident Larry Ray Vickrey is the proud winner of a set of his-and-hers Fossil-brand Commit for Life watches from Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center through the Diamonds for Donors promotion.
Vickrey started donating when a friend required blood for surgery. That was 40 years ago, and today, Vickrey is still saving lives. Every quarter you’ll find him taking part in a blood drive held by his employer, Conoco Phillips, where he made his winning donation.
“I know there’s a huge need,” Vickrey says. “It doesn’t take much time or effort to donate, so I do it often.”
