Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center
Let Us Help You Save Lives
Phlebotomists Miriam Martinez, Yolanda Hudson and Languia Felder show off one of several Trima® apheresis machines at Reagan High School's blood drive.
The machines allow blood donors to optimize their donations to save more lives.
Through automated donations using Trima® technology, a donor can give plasma every four weeks, platelets 24 times a year and red blood cells every eight or 16 weeks.
The automated technology allows The Blood Center to collect more needed blood components from fewer donors.
