Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center
Volunteering at Needville HS
Brittany Jones, age 16, and Bradley Porras, age 17, help direct donors at Needville High School's blood drive in May 2008.
Students and faculty aren't the only ones to donate. Brittany and Bradley have seen parents stop by after work and even recent graduates who continue donating at the high school.
"I know that giving blood save lives, even babies' lives," Brittany said. "This was my first year to donate."
"I learned about the Commit for Life program and the importance of giving blood by volunteering at the blood drive this year," said Bradley, who has donated multiple times. "I’ve also seen The Blood Center’s commercials on TV."
